If you have been paying attention, Reality TV Gossip looks like it is going down in flames. Recently Deb, the owner, announced that she would be closing the site on January 3. From what I can gather from reading the swan song thread, there was just too much shit going down for her to handle, so she is calling it quits. Big surprise.

It may be too late for you to warm your toes by the flames though - the site has been closed to guests and my sources tell me that members are being banned right and left.

A couple of the pillars behind the scenes of the site, however, have already taken what they knew and created a new, similar site at realityunleashed.com. I am not sure if it can gain the notoriety of Reality TV Gossip, but I am sure if the ex-members flock, they will do OK.

Seems I am a bit rusty with disuse. Here are a few corrections:

The following happened at TV Clubhouse: A couple of residents, including my good friend Mocha/Honey, left the board over the Michael Richards racism thing - a discussion on whether you call Richards racist- or the acts he committed racist.

And people are complaining about this one: Morty's TV cheated and won the Best BB Site poll - so I am giving it to Reality TV Calendar instead.

Well in the past Morty has won by a good margin, but this time it was a bit too much when thousands of votes flooded in at the last minute. Checking out who was doing all the voting showed someone was circumventing the voting process in a big way, probably using an automated voter.

OK I know the voting process isn't totally secure, and I am not saying Morty did this, but it looks like someone thought they were doing him a favor by cramming the ballot box, whereas a little moderation would have gone unnoticed. So this time excess is less - meaning Morty has been disqualified.

Many people have been asking where I have been. Well let's just say that Reality TV sites have become pretty boring. Or maybe its just me!

All the old things are still happening - drama, fights, banning, walkouts, new boards. But it seems that history keeps repeating itself, and is that really good gossip.

Maybe I have just become jaded. The other blogs became another battleground, then disappeared. The new bloggers I added to this site didn't pan out at all - the idea was to keep a constant flow of gossip to you, our readers. I just can't get excited about Jokers unfairly banning another person, or a new site splintering off from TVClubhouse or Jokers. They are a dime a dozen and do the same things. Reality TV sites just ain't the same anymore.

So here are a few tidbits that have happened:

Jokers allowed a user to ask for donations for a trip to Europe - and left it there for a while before it was added. Won't they ever learn?
